I feel these 3 images right here are the best out all images in this project. Unfortunately, this set of images is meant to be a 'bonus' set. Nevertheless, I'm going to talk about it just as well. The beautiful domed building on the burnt paper is nothing other the majestic Taj Mahal of India, which is kind of one of the 'symbols' of India, I guess. Funny story, I can actually guarantee you that no one else in the world has the same image because I snapped this while climbing on a 500 year old bench no one was supposed to climb on. The story of Taj Mahal, simply put, is a love story. The king who built this had a wife whom he loved so dearly. When his wife died, he was so grief stricken, that he built her the Taj Mahal as her tomb.
The other 2 images are of the temple in Trichy, South India. The temple has 4 such structures but this one is unique as its the only one that is completely white. The funny reason for this is that the King who built it went bankrupt just before finishing it so he left it unpainted, as it is today, 700 years ago.
This set was mainly to experiment with the blueprint filter and I think I tried and delivered well with the new white and brown colors.

Cityscape
This December, for the first time in my life, I had my first exposure to the glamorous city life of the USA. My trip to Chicago, IL was absolutely astounding. I remember being almost star-struck seeing the beautiful city lights. The left side picture is the view of the Chicago skyline as seen from Willis Tower Skydeck, one of the tallest buildings in the world. But what I really wanted to capture in this image is the gorgeous city lights, as well as the contrast between the bustling city, and the pristine waters of Lake Michigan. \
I especially love the blueprint image. This filter really makes the city look like it is from a long time ago. I think the clock and the "Hotel Monaco" really adds a nice touch. I actually really love this photo, and funny thing, I actually made it my desktop screensaver.

Its high time
I felt the need to give this image the title "Its high time" due to, like I said before, my unnecessary need to include puns in everything. Its literally high time. I'm sure you notice, but this is the Burton Memorial Clock tower in the central campus of the University of Michigan, right here in Ann Arbor. My goal in this project was to walk around downtown Ann Arbor and photograph all the interesting buildings there. This was one of the tallest buildings around which why I felt it would be nice to include it. I especially remember the beautiful bells that strike the hour.
I snapped these in a way to really show the symmetry of the tower, and this is can clearly be seen, especially in the blueprinted image, where the left and right side actually look like mirror images.

Green
Unfortunately, this building doesn't really have a name, it consists of different offices, cafes, and more. But nevertheless, this building caught my eye. Its because of its color. People often associate the color green with something 'gross' or 'dirty' and I'll never know why. Its quite clear from this image the color green can look so good in so many different situations.
The picture was taken with the emphasis on the windows in mind. Its really cool how the windows of the top row and bottom row are different, but also the same. It almost looks like a building you would see somewhere in the south of France, as a bakery or a bistro. The blueprint image was meant to bring out the texture and shape of the building and its attributes, and I also tried to experiment with it by trying out a 'greenprint' but it didn't work out. Maybe something to try in the future?

Hogwarts
This title was actually given to me by my sister. I named it Hogwarts because, well, isn't that the kind of feeling it gives you. This building is part of the which looks like a grand, old castle, much like Hogwarts. The main thing about this building is the shape. The windows, the cathedral tower, all of them have unique and really medieval looking design and architecture.
I edited this image with the goal of bringing out shape and color. The sharp shapes and designs of the buildings and cathedrals a can really be seen, along with the rustic dark and light brown of the brick. The shape is especially showcased in the blueprint image where you can see the leading lines on the window and the top of the minaret.

90°
This is the "One North Main" building, again, in downtown Ann Arbor. My dad helped and recommended that I take this photo do give this project an 'abstract' element, and I agree with him. The building showcases a section of 90 degree cutoffs, which look almost as if someone took of that section of the building cube-by-cube, to make this abstract looking building. I even rotated the left image by 180 degrees to make it upside down, to give it another 'abstract' looking element.
The blueprint of this really looks like an actual blueprint. The 90 degree cuts are clearly displayed, making it look very 'clean' and sharp. This is honestly one of the most interesting photos I took during this project
